Sales

Inside Sales Representative

Responsibilities:

We’re seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented individual to join our Inside Sales team in supporting our sales reps with tasks specific to the schools we work with. That means connecting with school administrators, office admin, yearbook advisors and teachers on a regular basis. Our ideal candidate is someone who gets things done — someone who is ambitious, customer-oriented and adaptable. We need someone who can predict what is needed next and take it upon themselves to be proactive, rather than wait for direction.

Ever watched The Office? We’re looking for more of a Pam, not a Stanley.

What you need to do:

Run various daily reports.
Create work orders for our school service items.
Schedule and assign photography tasks.
Attend weekly and quarterly meetings and take minutes.
Work alongside other departments, such as digital and photography, to ensure all teams are adequately prepared and equipped for our photography jobs.
Monitor dates and help make decisions about the photography schedule.
Collaborate on and prepare sales and marketing materials for university events, as well as secondary school specialty events.
Monitor inbound emails, answer questions and support school admin teams.
Other duties, as required.

The qualities we’re looking for:

Able to work during school hours (9 am to 3 pm) from our Vancouver office (There is potential to work remotely once you get used to how we do things)
Be comfortable with tech. You'll need to use excel on a regular basis, plus a number of apps including Slack, Basecamp and Highrise.
Can confidently and independently work without regular supervision and/or direction.
Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Able to prioritize work to meet deadlines.

What we can offer:

Competitive hourly wage.
Flexible schedule.
Potential to grow within a dynamic team.
Potential to work remotely.

Qualifications:

High School graduation.
Previous customer service experience is a plus.
Previous office experience is a plus.
Ever worked in your school’s yearbook department? Even better!

Qualifying candidates will be contacted and invited for interviews in-person from July 5-7, 2021 at our main studio in Vancouver.
